For Job Seekers

At Life Directions Employment, we work one-on-one with each job seeker to understand what works best for them, at their pace, in their way.

Before employment, we focus on building a strong foundation. This includes exploring goals, developing skills, preparing for interviews, and finding the right job fit, not just any job.

We take the time to get this right, so when someone does move into employment, they feel ready, confident, and supported.

And when needed, we remain available after hire, but our priority is helping each person get there in a way that sets them up for real, lasting success.

For Employers

At Life Directions Employment, we support employers across Grey, Bruce, Simcoe, and beyond to build their own inclusive hiring, training, and retention practices.

We work alongside you to understand your workplace and help you develop simple, effective approaches that fit your team, not one-size-fits-all solutions. This includes support with recruitment strategies, onboarding, and creating clear, supportive training processes.

Our focus is on helping you build internal confidence and systems that lead to long-term success, for both your business and your employees.

By offering meaningful employment to individuals facing barriers, you’re not only meeting your labour needs, you’re strengthening your workplace and making a lasting impact in people’s lives.

Getting Started

For Job Seekers
If you want to explore work, Life Directions is here to support you. You can contact us by phone, email, or through our website to start a conversation.

There is no pressure and no “right” starting point. We listen first, learn what matters to you, and work with you to build a path toward meaningful work that fits your goals, strengths, and life.

For Employers
Inclusive workplaces start with a conversation.

Contact Life Directions by phone, email, or through our website to share your goals, challenges, or ideas. We take time to understand your organization and work with you to build practical, sustainable approaches to inclusive hiring that strengthen your team and your business.

Building Job Search Skills

Strong job skills aren’t built all at once.

Job skills are developed step by step, through real experiences, small wins, and consistent effort.

At Life Directions, our approach focuses on helping you build practical skills that actually move the needle.

Getting started is easy: reach out by phone, email, or through our website, and we’ll begin with where you are today.

Together, we’ll identify the next right steps, build confidence through action, and create momentum that leads to real opportunities.

Interview Preparation

At Life Directions, interview preparation is not about memorizing perfect answers. It is about understanding what the employer is looking for and learning how to respond with clarity and confidence.

We help you break down interview questions, practise real conversations (not scripts), and connect your experience to the needs of the job.

We recognize that people think, communicate, and process information in different ways. We work with neurodiverse individuals to identify strengths, build personal strategies, and access supports that fit their needs.

Getting started is simple, reach out by phone, email, or through our website. We meet you where you are.

Together, we help you walk into interviews feeling prepared, grounded, and ready to show your value.

Ongoing Support

Success doesn’t stop at getting a job. It is about building comfort, confidence, and consistency in the first weeks and beyond.

Life Directions stays with you after hiring, with support that matches your needs—more or less, depending on what works for you.

We can help with orientation, building routines, communication with your employer, and taking small steps to grow comfort on the job.

We also support neurodiverse individuals by helping identify strengths, build practical strategies, and put the right supports in place for real workplace success.

Getting started is simple, reach out by phone, email, or through our website. We will build a plan that grows with you.

Championing Inclusive Workplaces

We work with employers to build more inclusive workplaces by challenging traditional thinking around hiring and workplace culture.
