Psychological safety is strategic. \n\n\n\nThis two-day\, in-person Mental Health First Aid training will equip business owners\, managers\, supervisors and employees with practical skills to recognize and respond to emerging mental health concerns in the workplace. \n\n\n\nParticipants will learn how to: \n\n\n\n\nRecognize early signs that someone may be experiencing a mental health challenge\n\n\n\nRespond with greater confidence\, empathy and understanding\n\n\n\nReduce stigma and encourage earlier conversations\n\n\n\nConnect employees with appropriate help and resources\n\n\n\nSupport a psychologically safer and more inclusive workplace\n\n\n\nStrengthen leadership skills and team resilience\n\n\n\nHelp reduce the risk of burnout\, absenteeism and extended leave\n\n\n\n\nMental health concerns can affect communication\, performance\, attendance\, employee retention and workplace culture. Giving leaders and employees the tools to respond appropriately can help prevent concerns from escalating while creating an environment where people feel supported and valued. \n\n\n\nThe training is facilitated by the Canadian Mental Health Association Grey Bruce\, and professional certification is included.
